A Luxury Choice in Eco-Friendly Hotels in Milwaukee
Our Milwaukee Hotel Is in the LEED-certified Brewery Development: An Investment in Our Community
At the Brewhouse Inn and Suites, green isn’t just a marketing term, it’s a higher standard. When we started this project, we wanted to make a real investment in Milwaukee, by thoughtfully developing a sustainable, green neighborhood.
A Passion Project
The Pabst Brewery was an abandoned icon that came to represent uncertainty. Joseph J. Zilber grew up in Milwaukee and loved the city, a love that incited him to do something monumental with not only the building, but the entire 20-acre development.
The Brewery Neighborhood project is a LEED-certified green development. Zilber and team have gone to great lengths to incorporate a wide range of sustainable strategies into all aspects of the development and construction process. By implementing the United States Green Building Council, LEED for Neighborhood Development Rating System, the Brewery has achieved Platinum Certification and is destined to be one of urban America's premier sustainable neighborhoods.
Located immediately east of Interstate 43, the Brewery has become Milwaukee's newest, sustainable historic neighborhood. It's home to the new University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Zilber School of Public Health, offices, apartments and The Brewhouse Inn & Suites and Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub, and is soon to have even more new tenants. This carefully planned gateway to Milwaukee's great downtown is the place to work, live, learn and play. Contact us for more information about our eco-friendly hotel.
